Speed Limiter Certificate
Speed Limiter Renewal and/or Verification certificates are issued by SPS Limited for all vehicles that are fitted with the GRTD and FK series Speed Limiter devices. Yearly Renewal of Speed Limiter Certificate is mandatory to ensure regulatory compliance on road safety as set out by the NTSA rules.
- Every vehicle in the country fitted with a speed limiter must go for a road-worthiness inspection once a year, likewise every vehicle fitted with a Speed Limiter must also have a renewed Speed Limiter Compliance certificate every year. This certificate must be submitted to the NTSA inspection centre as proof that the limiter is functional and accurate, without which the vehicle will not be allowed to be used on the Kenyan roads and may lead to fines.
- Speed Limiter Renewal certificate will only be issued once the vehicle is inspected by our authorized dealers. If the Speed Limiter is working correctly, the renewal certificate will be issued and the vehicle can now go for verification.
- Renewal certificates are available across all Authorized SPS Limited dealer points across Kenya. Customers can also directly contact SPS Limited to renew Speed Limiter certificate.
